Christmas opportunities
We will be lighting the Advent Candles each Sunday during morning worship starting Dec. 3 through Dec. 24.
MORNING AND EVENING WORSHIP Christmas Eve in 2023 is on a Sunday. We will have only one morning worship service in the morning - Dec. 24th at 10AM. There will be two evening candlelight services - one at 6 and another at 8PM.
The Case for Christmas advent devotional study. Have you ever wondered about what parts of the Christmas story as we see and hear it are history, what is legend, and what impact the Christmas story of Jesus is meant to have on our lives? We are beginning the 4 week study starting the week of November 26th. Some will do the study on their own, some as a part of a small group, some as a family devotion.
Longest Night (Blue Christmas) Worship Service - sponsored by the Northern Lebanon Churches at the Ono United Methodist Church – December 21 at 7PM. This is specially designed for those having a difficult time facing the Christmas celebration services because of grief or personal challenges. Perhaps a significant loved one has died in the last year or things are simply different and you would rather have an alternative to or in addition to the regular festive Christmas services where grief and faith are shared together.
